1. Turn on the power of the bending machine, turn the key switch, and press the oil pump to start. The bending machine oil pump starts to rotate. At this time, the machine has not started working.

2. Stroke adjustment. A test run is required when the bending work is officially started with the bending machine mold. There must be a gap of plate thickness when the upper mold of the bending machine moves down to the bottom. Otherwise it will cause damage to the mold and machine. The stroke adjustment also includes electric quick adjustment and manual fine adjustment.

3. When selecting the notch of the bending machine mold, generally choose a notch with a width that is 8 times the thickness of the plate. If you want to bend a 4mm sheet, you need to choose a notch of about 32mm.

4. Check the overlap and solidity of the upper and lower dies of the bending machine; check whether each positioning device meets the requirements for processing. Frequently check the overlap of the upper and lower molds; whether the indication of the pressure gauge complies with regulations.

5. The sheet must be compacted when bending to prevent the sheet from lifting up during bending and injuring the operator.

6. When adjusting the sheet metal die, the power supply must be cut off and the operation must be stopped.

7. When changing the opening of the lower mold of the variable bending machine, no material is allowed to come into contact with the lower mold.

8. It is prohibited to use the bending machine mold to bend ultra-thick iron plates or quenched steel plates, high-grade alloy steel, square steel and sheets that exceed the performance of the sheet metal bending machine to avoid damaging the machine tool.

9. Close the bending machine, place wooden blocks on the lower mold under the oil cylinders on both sides, and lower the upper slide plate onto the wooden blocks. Exit the control system program first, and then cut off the power supply.

Installation and adjustments
When installing the bending machine mold, be sure to check the status of the equipment, and then follow the steps to install and debug. Pay attention to personal safety during debugging.

Adjustment of the machine

When installing the bending machine mold, you must first understand the machine performance, open the bending machine, patiently adjust and check to see if the machine has dust and iron debris from previous use. To prevent unnecessary trouble for later use.

Adjustment of slider stroke

First check whether the ratio of the thickness of the bending machine mold to the upper and lower modules is normal. The general slider needs to be controlled at the switch point of the stroke line. This must be paid attention to, otherwise the mold will not be used normally, but some people still often make mistakes.

Adjustment of stroke module

After adjusting the slider stroke standard, the next step is to adjust the upper limit point of the module. Generally speaking, when the module reaches the highest point, the module and switch must be set properly. In this way, the stop position of the module can be flowed out. Through some of the above operations, the production efficiency can be greatly increased. During this process, the module also needs to be slowed down. Because when the module moves down to the bottom dead center, it must decelerate the module, thus protecting the machine and the mold.

Adjustment of gaps

The last step is to adjust the gap between the bending machine molds. First measure the gap between the upper module and the lower module. The reasonable gap needs to be determined according to the plate being folded.

Adjustment of angle

Adjusting the bending angle is also the most important step. The selection of the angle must be related to the product requirements. Generally speaking, when bending a 90° mold, the angle must be set. The middle angle must be greater than the angles on both sides. Sometimes it may be tight. You can adjust it by adjusting the bending angle. Process the screws on the machine. After adjustment, do not make any further modifications unless the product needs change. Then when bending, use the pressure gauge to calculate the accurate pressure number and adjust the pressure to avoid causing the mold to collapse.

Customization of molds
